Dr. Hitesh Abhayraj Shukla is a skilled and dedicated Orthopaedic Surgeon specializing in trauma, arthroplasty, arthroscopy, and spine care. He completed his undergraduate medical training at TNMC & Nair Hospital and pursued his postgraduate specialization at LTMMC & LTMGH (Sion Hospital), one of Mumbai’s premier tertiary care institutions. This robust training laid the groundwork for his expertise in managing complex orthopaedic conditions.
Dr. Shukla first served as a Senior Resident at BDBA Municipal General Hospital, where he managed high-volume trauma cases, orthopaedic emergencies, fracture fixation, and post-operative care, further strengthening his surgical and clinical skills. He later worked as a Postgraduate Medical Officer (PGMO) at the same institution, gaining extensive hands-on experience in acute trauma management and emergency orthopaedic care.
Since 2020, he has been associated with United Medicity / United Institute of Medical Sciences, where he has worked as an Assistant Professor and Associate Professor, actively involved in teaching, mentoring postgraduate students, managing advanced orthopaedic cases, and performing specialized procedures.
Dr. Shukla has completed multiple prestigious AO Trauma courses, advanced workshops, and cadaveric training programs, enhancing his expertise in fracture fixation, joint replacement, spine procedures, and trauma management. He has also pursued specialized fellowships in Ilizarov technique, Arthroscopy, and Spine Surgery, enabling him to offer advanced care in deformity correction, minimally invasive arthroscopy, and spine trauma management.
His academic contributions include research publications in reputed journals, conference presentations, and participation as faculty at national orthopaedic conferences such as UPORTHOCON and WIROC.
